Dr. Karen Wilson, Clinical Neuropsychologist

In addition to being the founder of ChildNEXUS, Dr. Wilson is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in assessing neurodevelopmental disorders. She has extensive experience evaluating children, adolescents, and young adults who present with learning, processing, or social-emotional challenges. As the Director of West LA Neuropsychology, PC, she uses her in-depth understanding of brain-behavior relationships to help identify the causes of difficulties individuals are experiencing and utilize comprehensive and evidence-based approaches to determine one’s unique neurocognitive profile and develop a treatment plan tailored to each child, adolescent or young adult.

Dr. Kathleen Carroll-Wray, Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Kathleen Carroll-Wray is a licensed clinical psychologist and registered yoga teacher specializing in the psychological assessment of common learning problems or behavioral difficulties. Typical client presentations include autism, learning disorders, ADHD, anxiety/panic, depression, somatic symptoms like headaches/GI concerns, social comparison, trauma, and grief.

Arlene Bell, Attorney

Arlene Bell is an attorney in private practice whose work is dedicated to Special Education Law. Her sensitivity to the challenges of advocating for children's rights derive from her past experiences as a teacher of students with learning disabilities. She represents parents of children with special needs at IEP meetings, mediations and administrative hearings. Arlene also represents family members in court for guardianships and conservatorships. 

Shelley Lawrence, M.Ed, CPCC, ACC

The founder of Schoolhouse Collaborative, Inc., Shelley Lawrence is a certified coach and consultant who works with individuals, educators, and parents to engage in deep self-reflection, identify values, and set goals to live a more fulfilling life.

Vickie Waller, Educational Therapist

For over 40 years, Victoria Waller, Ed.D., has been a reading specialist and educational therapist. She helps children ages 5-11 who have trouble reading and writing, can't sit still in class, and don't feel like they can participate.
