Meet the Speakers
Dr. Karen Wilson, Clinical Neuropsychologist
In addition to being the founder of ChildNEXUS, Dr. Wilson is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in assessing neurodevelopmental disorders. She has extensive experience evaluating children, adolescents, and young adults who present with learning, processing, or social-emotional challenges. As the Director of West LA Neuropsychology, PC, she uses her in-depth understanding of brain-behavior relationships to help identify the causes of difficulties individuals are experiencing and utilize comprehensive and evidence-based approaches to determine one’s unique neurocognitive profile and develop a treatment plan tailored to each child, adolescent or young adult.
Dr. Bibi Pirayesh, Educational Therapist
Dr. Pirayesh is an Educational Therapist and Educational Specialist/Consultant who offers her clients a full educational therapy suite. In addition to working with students, she helps parents work with their child’s differences, works with teachers and schools, and advocates for students.
Amanda Selogie and Vickie Brett, Special Education Attorneys
Vickie Brett and Amanda Selogie founded their law firm on the principle that all children deserve a quality public education and quality representation to obtain that.
